2015 Vision
Over the course of 6 months intensive activity, completed in 2005, business leaders from the engineering sector undertook a 'Foresight' exercise to explore the future for the industry in the Tees Valley.
Their conclusion was that there are tremendous opportunities to maintain and develop the sector in such a way that it is both competitive and sustainable in 2015 and beyond. The proviso is that this future will not happen by chance. The possibility of failure is greater than that of success. Success is, however, eminently attainable provided their is clear leadership and greater cross-sector collaboration.
