Tees Valley Engineering Partnership

Imagine a region with over a hundred years of engineering history, a proven track record of innovation and achievement plus a unique accumulation of engineering skills, knowledge and talent.

Imagine a region where companies, learning organisations and support groups are working together in collaborations and partnerships to equip themselves for a sustainable future by developing capabilities that can compete with the best at all engineering levels, anywhere in the world.

Imagine no more...The reality is Teesside (now known as the Tees Valley) in North East England

The Tees Valley Engineering Partnership has existed in some shape or form since 2001. Whilst there have been significant achievements in this time, particularly in the fields of technology and skills, the decision was made at the beginning of 2008 to move the organisation forward and in April the TVEP became a company limited by guarantee.

The organisation has been boosted by a significant offer of participation and resource by the University of Teesside. The University has a strong desire to develop links with the Engineering community and a close alliance with TVEP is the ideal vehicle to forge greater relationships. In return, TVEP members will benefit from access to significant expertise in the fields of high level skills and Technology.

Essentially TVEP has been, and will remain a company that reflects and responds to the needs of it's members providing them with a voice in the region and the opportunity to develop their businesses through access to market intelligence and the development of relationships across the Partnership.
