Embargoed announcement: Hertel Expands In Petro-Chemical Industry

Hertel (UK) has today (Friday, December 1) expanded its business in the UK Industrial sector and secured 160 jobs with the acquisition of Aker Kvaerner’s Engineering Services workshop and maintenance business. The company will be renamed “Hertel Total Asset Management Ltd” to reflect the increasing scope and portfolio of it’s services.

23 November 2006 - On Wednesday 8th November, local charities came together to receive donations from Aker Kvaerner employees. The funds were generated from a “Safety Incentive Scheme” run by the Maintenance Alliance at Huntsman European Base Chemicals & Polymers. As the Aker Kvaerner team reached a milestone for injury free performance, money was put into a pot for each individual to receive at the end of the year. Aker Kvaerner employees decided to donate the £3600 to charity.
