4th Annual TVEP Lectures

03-12-2009

Pupils from across Teesside will be coming together to participate in the annual Christmas lecture sessions organised by Tees Valley Engineering Partnership and hosted by Teesside University.

This years event, sponsored by TVEP member organisation’s Hertel and the Cleveland Scientific Institute (CSI), will demonstrate to students that Engineering is both a viable and exciting long term career option. TVEP have again enlisted the services of Huw James from the award winning Science Made Simple programme as a key presenter who is able to keep a captive audience with a range of practical demonstrations that highlight the application and importance of engineering to everyday life.

This is the fourth year that TVEP have staged the ‘Christmas Lectures’ linking their education , skills and engineering awareness initiatives with the aim of attracting young people into the engineering and manufacturing industries with recordable ongoing success.

The shows will be held at 10.30am and 1.30pm on Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th December. Although the Tuesday sessions are now fully booked, there are some spaces left on Wednesday 16th.
