Dari Taylor gets down to business with Aker Solutions

MP for Stockton South Dari Taylor met with Aker Solutions recently, to learn more about the company and some of the new, highly specialised and technical initiatives that it is currently involved with, right in the heart of her constituency.

Dave Ley, president and managing director of Aker Solutions’ E&C business, said, “We were delighted to welcome Dari Taylor into our office and appreciated the opportunity to advise her on our current activities, our key technological developments and how we are contributing to the local economy.”
For example Aker Solutions is working with Aker Clean Carbon as part of a consortium led by Scottish Power. This consortium has been pre-qualified in the competition to build the first large scale CO2 capture facility for a coal-fired power plant in the UK.

A local company that is part of a global delivery team, creatively responding to and producing answers to problems with a highly qualified staff. My pleasure meeting the staff was significantly added to by the fact that this company is and will remain local.”
