FABRICOM SUEZ UK – MILLION POUND CONTRACT SECURED
11-06-2007
Fabricom Suez is a leading national multi-disciplined mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and engineering organisation providing construction, maintenance and project management services to the oil, gas, energy and chemical industries.
Fabricom Suez is proud to announce that they have secured a job worth in excess of one million pounds on the Bacton site.
They have won the contract for the fabrication and installation of large bore carbon and stainless steel pipework, associated valves and supports in a “shutdown” situation on four areas of the Bacton plant.
Fabricom Suez previously completed the multi-million pound Zeebrugge Compression Facilities Enhancement project in 2006 at the Bacton terminal, Norfolk. The preparation works commenced November 2005 and the enhancement project (2006) was split into two phases. All fabrication works were carried out at Fabricom Suez’s Immingham Facilities and completed to a high client specification and a very tight schedule.
The IUK project allows a further increase of reverse flow importing gas into the UK national grid.
All works undertaken by Fabricom Suez were completed on schedule and within the Project budget. Thanks to hard work, caution and dedication, there were no lost time accidents or incidents. The newly secured contract, which is due to be completed later this year, is obviously down to the excellent performance and committed hard work seen being carried out on the previous phases of the development in which Fabricom Suez were involved in.
Fabricom Suez are pleased to maintain their current relationship with Interconnector UK Ltd and hope the affiliation will continue as future projects arise. Fabricom Suez trades as Fabricom Contracting Limited in the UK and is a Suez Energy Services Company. Fabricom Suez UK ‘Making the Difference’.
