Tees Valley Engineering Partnership

DDUK Engineering Ltd, a member company of the Tees Valley Engineering Partnership, has secured a substantial new contract with Turkish company Advansa.

The contract, worth in the region of £70,000, will see the Middlesbrough-based firm supplying Advansa with specialist steel Slip Plates, which are used to restrict flow on a pipeline and secure a safe working environment or facilitate a plant shutdown.

DDUK Engineering, which currently employs a total of seven people on Teesside, has been supplying Advansa with Slip Plates for the past two years and secured the new two-year contract as part of a competitive tender process.

The precision engineering company, which is based at Riverside Park, specialises in manufacturing high quality components in a variety of materials, from plastics and stainless steel, to exotic alloys and titanium. The firm currently manufactures bespoke items for a variety of industries including the Petrochemical, Offshore and Pharmaceutical sectors.

DDUK Engineering Ltd is also an active member of the Tees Valley Engineering Partnership, which strives to promote collaboration and partnerships between North East engineering firms, to collectively ensure a sustainable future in the engineering sector.
