This year Fabricom Suez has enlisted the support of their clients and suppliers to raise funds for three charities – one from each of their regions in Immingham, Teesside and Sandycroft.  Many suppliers have donated gifts, ranging from a wide screen TV to a spa weekend, which will be raffled off at the event taking place on 8^th December at Reeds Hotel, Barton.

The draw will take place at Fabricom Suez’s annual staff Christmas function and will see the chosen charities benefiting equally from the proceeds. 

Charities were independently nominated by members of staff and one randomly selected from the nominations in each region.  For Sandycroft in the North West, the chosen charity is Clare House Children’s Hospice in the Wirral.  The Eston Fellowship (Handicapped support) will receive a share of the money on behalf of Teesside in the North East region and Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulances will benefit from the event as Immingham’s chosen charity for the North region.  The Forget Me Knot Charity which provides respite holiday support for children will also benefit from the proceeds for the East region

Mrs. Yvonne Day, HR Manager for Fabricom Suez said: “We have an incredible workforce, who willingly participate in all our endeavors to support out local charities.  Without this, and the support of our clients and suppliers, our achievements would be by no means as great”.

This event comes only a few weeks after a cheque for £400 was handed over to Brian Marsh of Martract in support of the Hydrotherapy Unit located in Humberston.  These regular events show how Fabricom Suez recognize, and are keen supporters of, local charities in each of their regions.
